USBV4F is a high-end VIRTEX-4 FPGA board with outstanding technical features.

206 FPGA I/O pins are routed to a high-performance SAMTEC TM QFS connector. By selectable I/O voltages (3.3V, 2.5V, 1.8V) and reference-voltages (default: 1.25V) in combination with impedance controlled differential-pair routing there are single-ended signal standards and also LVDS and other differential-pair I/O standards available. Additional, adjustable user-defined voltages can be used. The default DCI impedance is 50 Ohm, but can be modified (assembly option).

The FPGA can be configured by JTAG, USB or the on-board flash memory.

Beside a fixed 30 MHz clock and an optional on-board oscillator with user-defined frequenzy (assembly option) more single-ended or differential clock signals can be fed in through the I/O connector.

8 MByte SRAM with 10ns access time is connected to the FPGA 32-bit wide. Therefore a memory bandwith of 400 MByte/s is available.

One RS-232 interface with baud-rates up to 1 MBd (MAX3227E), 6 LEDs, one pushbutton switch with built-in LED and 16 FPGA I/O pins on a standad 0,1" header (i.e. to connect a logic anayzer) make the equipment complete.
